We are delighted to announce the second issue of the University of Dallas Business Review, connecting the scholar-practitioner faculty at the Gupta College of Business to managers across the globe.
For almost 60 years our College of Business has focused on providing an evidence-based approach to business education. This effort is led by a faculty of scholar-practitioners who integrate their extensive industry and consulting experience with their rigorous applied research. We take great pride in providing “just-in-time” learning that allows students to immediately apply what they learn in class to their jobs the very next day.
The mission of the UDallas Business Review carries on this tradition by communicating the applied research conducted by Gupta COB faculty members. In this issue we feature articles focused on opportunism within channel relationships, loyalty marketing and foreign firm performance within the U.S. capital market. This edition also features articles authored by recent graduates of our DBA program. As the first AACSB -accredited DBA program in Texas, we are proud to be extending our legacy of evidence-based education by preparing the next generation of scholar-practitioners. The articles in this edition of the UDallas Business Review showcase our faculty and our DBA students.
We hope you enjoy these articles. But more importantly, we hope you will find the ideas presented here actionable!
